The effects of the CSP on the role of the vestry

The Vestry retains all of its canonical rights and responsibilities except for the right to set clergy compensation and benefits. Membership in the CSP does not by itself confer mission status on a congregation and does not therefore transfer ownership of property to the Diocese.
