Investment in girls’ education may well be the highest-return  investment available in the developing world.
Lawrence Summers

Founded in 2004 to fund Anglican women’s education in the developing world, the GWF initiative supports Millennium Development Goal #3:

“Promote gender equality and empower women”

Right now we are supporting four women from around the world who are working toward a successful future.

  • A seminarian at Msalato Theological College in Tanzania
  • A seminarian at Seminaire de Theologie in Haiti
  • A Philippino priest at Virginia Theological Seminary
  • A Tanzanian college business major studying in New York

According to the UN Development Program, “Women’s empowerment helps raise economic productivity and reduce infant mortality.  It contributes to improved health and nutrition. It increases the chances of education for the next generation.”

100% of your donation goes to women’s education.

All donations are welcome.
